We've decided to give this site a bit of a revamp and clarify the focus around our adventure of taking a small campervan around Europe and generally just getting out there and doing it!  We've had so many comments from people on forums, eMails and the blog who have benefited from our experience that makes the effort of writing this up worthwhile.  We also hasten to add we've got a lot FROM others which makes our life easy - and as such we've linked some key sites and others' blogs on the menus above.  It also helps us remember where we've been!!! (Mel is getting old after all..! *ouch*)

The map to the right shows where our trips have taken us so far, with both the plans and reviews available on the "TRIP" menu above.  This site only covers trips since we started our big adventure - not previous holiday trips.

So far:-

  6 weeks, Oct/Nov 08
• Trip 2: Spain & Portugal including sun chasing and snowboarding!
  7 weeks, Dec 08/Jan 09
• Trip 3: Italy & Switzerland

Our Adventure Dream

Our dream is to have as much fun as we can for as long as possible!  We're fortunate in that we have the time at the moment.  Our rules are:  (1) if we want to do it - we will!  (2) never say never and (3) You only live once.  We would much rather be in our rocking chairs saying "When we were younger we ......" than "Wish we .... when we were younger"
