Over the last few weeks, we’ve met various friends who have said “Haven’t you used the van this year – your blog is quiet!”. Hmmm. Actually yes, we’ve had >50 nights away this year already – we’ve just not blogged/bored everyone about it! But as everyone thinks we’re doing nothing, thought I’d add another quick post.
All photos, click HERE. Not many pics taken as we were more out exploring than picture taking 🙂
This trip was more about going to the brilliant but busy Edinburgh festival, and spending a few weeks dawdling up and back through national parks rather than the motorway, visiting friends and family and visiting 101 motorhome parts suppliers (Magnum, Jacksons, Rainbow, Mega Van Mats, eFoam, WoodByPost, Oleary, Morland etc) to get ideas for Van 2 parts….
Most of the route was avoiding motorways and A roads, and most was on tight single track, through the Lakes, Dales and Keilder Forest. Loads of Wildcamping and pub stops – CamperContact, Moonfruit Pub stops, and Park4Night – very very useful.
The fringe festival was buzzing and brilliant, but so much to see and so much down to taste not worth commenting lol – but Milton Jones was very good live.
Anyway, pics:-
