Walks, Cycle rides and Mountain Biking – Melksham, Wiltshire

Well as you may know, we’ve settled down in a little town called Melksham in Wiltshire which we love and now call home.  So many of our mini adventures and days out are taking place locally.  So this page will be used to catalogue routes we’ve found or made up for walking, road cycling or mountain biking.

If you know any similar routes in Wiltshire, and local to us, please feel free to let us know and we’ll test them out and list them here!

As we like technical things, we’ll include the GPX files with each wall, as well as an online map for you to look at.  We won’t write a full English route as everyone has a GPS unit or smartphone, right? 🙂

On our Android Phones, we use OSMAnd as a a free GPS map which has all paths/bridleways etc, and you can overlay the GPX files which you can download from here.  iPhones, no idea.  I will also include .TCX files shortly so if you have a Garmin GPS watch etc you can upload the path to them (works on most, including Forerunners as uploaded as a “training course”)
