Melksham-Lacock-Castle Combe – 44km (22km each way) bike route

We use a Garmin Edge Touring bike GPS, and the GPX files here will work on it nicely! Full review see HERE.

For full Wiltshire route index see HERE

This is a nice bike ride through quiet country lanes all the way to Castle Combe – and directly to the racetrack!  Ideal for a day out if the motorsport is on.  As we did it for the motorsport, we did out and back and didn’t plan an alternative way back.  All quiet roads, crossing a couple of major roads, and a few tough climbs!

  • Distance:  22km each way, 44km return
  • Type of route: Mostly quiet country lanes
  • Difficulty (excluding distance):  Easy
