  • From Merlin and Holly on Ryan and Mel say "Do Your Dream!"

    Hello guys,
After being on the road for now since March 3rd, I have finally found what I have been looking for. A very informative guide to driving around Europe. Cannot believe it has take nme this long to find your site. I am really greatful for the GPS listings as this is just what we have been looking for. Sometimes it can be stressful staying in P+R’s and wild areas as you are not really sure what is going to happen. We have had the police with search lights looking through our van before (as we are not your average looking camper, but luckily its only been the police).
Have bookmarked your site so I can keep reading as we will be getting to Italy soon and then travelling the coast (southwest) around and back up to Calais and then back to the UK. ETA : Unknown 🙂

Hi Ryan & Mel – Greetings from Flensburg, Germany! Please share any tips you have for your June/Dec 2012 trips while we’re out here doing them! We’ll be in Denmark tomorrow just popped on to re-read your info 🙂

Looks like we’re going to miss you again… very brave about the 6 month backpack trip, bit out of our comfort zone to be without a vehicle – one for the future for us maybe!

Sounds like you had a great time, very similar to our experience when we went in 2009 on our own. We had bad weather until we crossed the Atlas Mountains, then the weather was a lot warmer.
I got a terrible chest infection and had a cold the whole time I was in Morocco.
Love the sahara, Chefchouan, andEssoira, Marakesh was enough for two days too.
We also like the Todra and Dades Gorges.

  • From Chris on Week 14 - Azrou to gorges du Todra Morocco

We did a month trip on our own to Morocco 5 years ago and went to Mazouga – did you stay at Nomad Palace with Ali? The comment about Berber tents suggest you might have done. We had a brilliant time there, the only van and we ate with Ali and family in the building. We went round the other way and came to Mezouga from Todra Gorge – it was a superb trip and we would love to return but are not sure about an organised trip – we had no problems throughout the whole month and we are not so comfortable with orgaised trips, will keep reading your blog. Enjoy

I’ve bookmarked your site for the future. You’re doing exactly what I want to do, but I’m just starting out with a campervan. I’m taking it easy for now but will start with a tour of the UK to ease me into living in a camper. I’m keeping a blog of everything that I do with my camper and update whenever I travel.

Keep up the good work, happy travels!
